When creating my design for my business card, I want to avoid the whole idea of having a typical design that focuses on a logo, a long list of personal information and type.
My initial idea is to bring photography into my business card. I want to apply the photography I have already begun to explore and recently practiced in - which has given me an idea.
I've been obsessed with my Fuji Film Instax Mini camera recently and I've been using it a lot, I carry it around with me whenever I can and it has kind of become a part of my life in a way.
I got my first Polaroid camera a few years back as a hand-me-down from my family. The photos have a specific dreamy and ethereal look to them that can only be captured by a Polaroid. The thing about polaroids is they capture your surroundings and sort of put them in a time capsule. With digital cameras, they can be edited, deleted and be obsessed over. With polaroids you only have ten photos available so you want to make each one as perfect as possible - which ultimately makes them so special.
Using a polaroid as a business card adds value to it.
People aren't necessarily going to be quick to throw it away, knowing that one shot was taken and it's now theirs to keep. People are more likely to keep them, hang them in their work space, display it on their desk or tell people about it. It is something I have never seen before either, so that gives me an advantage.

In the photos I can use them throughout the t-shirt design process, photoshoots or just of the clothing themselves. Incorporating my brand identity within the aesthetics to reflect upon myself.
