Interview with Impossible Conversations

The Dope Lyfe/Impossible Conversations are a independent mens clothing brand based in UK. I wanted to interview them to try and understand what it is like to manage your own company, hoping to gain some inspiration for my future career.

• Talking to Guy has really inspired me for in the future to follow my dreams even if they seem impossible
• The fact he does not even collaborate on any aspect of his company and manages it all himself is a huge inspiration, and provides me confidence in pursing something similar

Interview with Urada Hawaii

I have followed Urada since the beginning of 2015. I discovered them whilst looking at a few fashion blogs on Tumblr and instantly was drawn to their designs. They are based in Hawaii and generally target their fashion brand at a younger "tumblr" audience.

I actually featured their t-shirt in my publication titled "You Came At Just The Right Time" as part of of a first year project. They reblogged the photo on Tumblr after I posted it and hash-tagged the #URADA. I gained a few followers on my Tumblr platform which has ultimately brought more attention to my design work which I post often.

They are a big inspiration for me as I hopefully want to pursue my own fashion label one day and potentially as part of my third year design work. Asking about the process of running a business like this might give me some guidance for the future.
